Taking care of yourself is essential to taking care of others. Our wellness programs offer opportunities to pause, connect and recharge throughout the academic year.
Wellness Wag
Wellness Wag is held on the second Tuesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. and is open to all. Join us for a moment to pause, breathe, relax and spend time with certified therapy dogs. No matter which dogs are visiting, anyone who stops to pet a dog can’t help but smile.
We recognize that many in the College of Medicine – Tucson community may be missing their pets, have had to leave them at home while in school or simply love animals. Through our partnership with Pet Partners of Southern Arizona, volunteer therapy dog teams bring comfort, connection and joy to campus. Stop by, say hello and start collecting your doggie cards — each visit is a small step toward wellness. All are welcome.
Coffee & Community
Coffee & Community is a welcoming gathering for all College of Medicine – Tucson faculty, staff, residents and students. Join us for free coffee and light pastries as we slow down, connect and build meaningful relationships across the college. This one-hour event creates space for conversation, shared interests and community — because strong connections strengthen our campus.
Flow into Wellness Yoga
Flow into Wellness Yoga is a calming yoga series hosted by the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships in collaboration with Banner Behind the Badge and the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.
Open to all College of Medicine – Tucson and Banner employees, this inclusive series invites students, physicians and staff to come together in community and move through a gentle, grounding yoga flow. Designed to reduce stress and support well-being, Flow into Wellness also strengthens relationships.
